How do I return an item?

ORDER Terms and Conditions

When receiving an order from FedEx, boxes should be inspected for signs of damage such as tears, holes, or dents.  If there is any sign of damage it must be noted on the delivery documentation and any issues reported to the shipping carrier immediately.  Should an order include damaged or missing items, contact ESI Customer Service within five (5) days from receipt of the order to place a claim.  All original packaging and products should be retained until ESI provides instruction to resolve the issue.  ESI will require the return of damaged or defective products.  Damaged or Missing Item claims will not be accepted if received after five (5) days from date of delivery.



ESI Ergonomic Solutions provides a One-Year Product Warranty on all items included on, excluding Clearance products or those otherwise noted.  Warranties are based on normal installation and use of products in a standard 8-hour shift.  Warranty does not apply to damage in shipment caused by carriers and damage caused during installation, use or conditions.  Products that are modified or tampered with in any way by any person other than authorized ESI Representative will not be covered under warranty.  Costs (such as installation, labor fees or express shipping) incurred due to replacement of products will not be covered under warranty.

An item may be returned for replacement due to a manufacturer’s defect, with accompanying original receipt/proof-of-purchase and Return Authorization documentation.  Contact ESI Customer Service by email or phone 800.833.3746 to obtain a Return Authorization.



Request for product returns must be made to ESI within 15 days of receipt of the product.  Qualifying merchandise may be returned to ESI Ergonomic Solutions for credit or replacement within 30 days of receipt of order. 

Please have the original receipt/proof-of-purchase available and contact ESI Customer Service by email or phone 800.833.3746 to request a Return Authorization (RA) Number.   Once you receive the RA documentation, the product along with a copy of the RA Form should be sent to:

·        Products returned to ESI without having been issued a Return Authorization or those not meeting the return requirements will not be eligible for refund.

·        A re-stocking fee of 25% (subject to change) will apply to all non-warranty returns.

·        To protect your return against loss, we recommend choosing a carrier who will provide tracking information and the ability to insure the shipment.

·        Products which include blister packs and/or shrink-wrap parts which have been opened are not eligible for return or replacement.

·        Products which have been fully or partially assembled are not returnable.

·        Products must be returned in undamaged, re-sellable condition and in original packaging.

·        Products should be carefully repacked to avoid damage during return shipping.

·        Products must be received at ESI’s Warehouse within 30 days of the date of the Return Authorization to be eligible for credit.  Products received after this date will not receive credit.

Upon receipt the product will be inspected to ensure it meets ESI’s return guidelines.  Once approved, the original form of payment will be credited appropriately or a replacement will be sent.  No credit will be issued for unauthorized product returns or those not meeting return guidelines.  Costs associated with installation, return shipping, etc. of returned products will not be reimbursed. Please allow up to 30 days for returns processing.

Standard FedEx Ground™ Shipping is included on products shipped within the contiguous 48 states.  Contact ESI Customer Service to obtain Shipping Quote for orders shipping to AK, HI, or Puerto Rico.  Orders are processed and shipped within two business days of receipt.
